Holding steadfast to my roots and faith is paramount to me. As a first-generation American with Sicilian heritage, my family's journey from Italy to America deeply influences my work. The Italian horn symbolizes strength, and the mano cornuto (horned hand) wards against the malocchio (evil eye), embodying the cultural superstitions and protective symbols of my heritage. Yet, beyond these traditions, I believe true protection is granted by Jesus Christ, whose sacrifice on the cross offers forgiveness and safety. In homage to this belief, I've meticulously handcrafted crosses into each piece of my new jewelry collection.
